Moreover, content on your blog should be original and unique. Do not copy from other blogs and websites. Writing is a very difficult work. It requires a lot enthusiam, knowledge and creativity for creating new content. If you think your blog has low amount of content, then copying from other blogs is not the solution. Believe in quality rather than quantity. Presense of copied content on your blog can spoil its Google reputation and may be marked as spam.
There is nothing wrong if you are blogging for making money. But If you are blinded by this money-making attitude then you won't be able to write valuable articles. You should write with a sense of sharing your knowledge. Forget about making money. Help your readers by enhancing their knowledge and making them more awesome. Money will come to you without any extra effort. Valuable content will bring more readers, more readers will increase your blog's traffic and more traffic on your blog will bring more money to you. So blog with a sense of giving rather than taking.
Reduce the number of ads on your blog. Avoid putting pop-ups. Make navigation on your blog easy. Keep the design of your blog simple. Follow Google's principle of design. Your blog will load faster if it is simple and minimalist in design.

Understand the current trend. Understand what your readers want. Believe me you won't need to do much marketing for making your blog to attract more traffic.
